A Place for His Presence & Power

Praise & Worship

Praise and Worship

If you ever want to experience God’s presence and power, start to praise Him. The scriptures say that: “[He] inhabits the praises of His people” (Psalm 22:3).

True praise and worship pleases the Lord, for we were created to worship. He takes pleasure in smelling the sweet fragrance of our affections; and he delights in manifesting His glory and power in our midst.

Since praise manifests God’s presence, then praise must avert the presence of  the enemy, Satan. The enemy hates when the atmosphere is charged with true unadulterated praise and worship; as such, he cannot stay in its midst. We are admonished in Psalm 150 to:

Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in His Sanctuary:Praise Him in the firmament of His power

Praise Him for His mighty acts: Praise Him according to His excellent greatness

Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet, praise Him with the psaltery and harp.

Praise Him with the timbrel and dance:praise Him with the stringed instruments and organs

Praise Him upon the loud cymbals; praise Him upon the high sounding cymbals

Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.

I challenge you to become a person of praise. You will experience the release of the power of God.
